Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
Understand and identify the use of textiles
Understand the process and techniques involved in creating textures.
Understand the basics of creating textures
Use of variety of mediums to beautify the fabric
Understand basic techniques of textiles in treating fabrics through studio practice.
Acquire time management skills.
Understand the nature of different mediums and their effects on different fabrics.
Material:
Synthetic dyes
Different types of fabrics
- White cotton 2 yards for tie &dye
- Cloth for embroidery (chaar sooti)
- Jute fabric for punch needle
Anchor threads (any 3 colors)
Embroidery frame 8 inch
Embroidery needles (2)
Punch needle

A diary
In the first class you only need to bring cotton fabric (2 yards) in white color and 2 anchor threads (any color of choice). Rubber bands, paper clips.
For the rest of the classes the teacher will inform you accordingly!
